FIGO awards, fellowships and late-breaking abstracts – don’t miss out!

Dear KSOG,

On behalf of FIGO’s Board of Trustees, I am pleased to announce three exciting opportunities for our member societies related to the XXV FIGO World Congress in Cape Town.

We have relaunched the FIGO Women’s Awards for 2025 and are once more running our joint FIGO and the Chien-Tien Hsu Research Foundation Fellowship. FIGO has also opened our late-breaking abstract submissions and launched a new bursary programme to help researchers attend the World Congress.

Read below to find out more about how to get involved with each of these opportunities. Please also pass this information on to your members.

Late breaking abstract submissions and bursary opportunity

Missed the submission deadline? FIGO Cape Town 2025 is now accepting late-breaking abstracts. Present your research to more than 8,000 global experts, get published in the IJGO and help shape the future of women’s health.

Need financial support? Our new bursary programme helps researchers, particularly from low-income countries, attend our World Congress. If you have an accepted abstract or pending late-breaking abstract you may be eligible.
