FIGO & ICM strengthening partnership for women-centred care
We are delighted to announce that on 11 October at the World Health Summit in Berlin, FIGO and the ICM signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This MoU strengthens our commitment to a genuine partnership, grounded in mutual respect and a shared mission to ensure every woman receives the highest quality of care.
Strengthening FIGO’s governance: our updated Articles of Association
We would like to thank all FIGO Member Societies who participated in our General Meeting on 29 September and voted to adopt new Articles of Association. Key changes include a return to a three-year governance cycle, improvements to make the nomination and election processes more equitable, the retirement of the Regional Trustee role and measures to encourage greater member participation and shared responsibility.
There’s still time to submit a proposal and help shape the global conversation at FIGO Montréal 2027. Eligible delegates can also apply for bursary support to participate. Follow to submit your proposal or bursary application by 29 October 2026.
