Strengthening women-centred abortion and family planning care in Nepal

Updates on the gestational trophoblastic neoplasia staging and scoring system for 2026

FIGO has published a revised FIGO staging and scoring system for gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) in the International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics. This updated version introduces important changes that improve risk assessment, guide treatment decisions and support consistent management of this rare but highly treatable group of diseases.
