Registrations for the FIGO Women’s Leadership Network are now open until 30 March. The network aims to build an online community for women and gender diverse individuals across FIGO’s global membership. We are particularly keen to hear from aspiring leaders in the first five years of their career. Please share this opportunity widely within your society.
Member spotlight: strengthening endometriosis care in Guatemala
Dr Hugo D. Ruano talks about the pioneering collaboration between Guatemalan Association of Gynecology and Obstetrics (AGOG) and the EndoGt Group, which is working to strengthen the management of endometriosis and ensure that women receive the integrated support they need.
The Georgian Obstetricians and The Georgian Obstetricians and Gynecologists Association (GOGA) will host a two‑day scientific meeting in Tbilisi on 22–23 June 2026, bringing together experts to share new research and clinical best practices. Keynote speakers include FIGO President Prof Frank Louwen and EBCOG President Dr Sambit Mukhopadhyay.
UNFPA and FIGO sign agreement to advance women’s health
This week the UNFPA (the United Nations Population Fund) and FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at UNFPA Headquarters in New York. This marks a significant step towards accelerating innovation, investment and global collaboration in women’s health.
Annual membership fee invoices to be sent in April
FIGO will issue annual membership fee invoices in April, following the transition to our new financial year outlined in the email from the Board of Trustees in February.
