Professor Kihara Anne-Beatrice, President of FIGO, and Professor Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent, Chief Midwife at the International Confederation of Midwives recently held a joint discussion on tackling postpartum haemorrhage, the leading cause of maternal deaths. They highlighted how strengthening collaboration between OBGYNs and midwives is vital to end preventable maternal mortality.
